Blog Block & Camera Capers

I haven’t blogged in a full week. The reason has been a nasty case of blog block. It’s a new medical condition for the 21st century.

Blog block arose because I’ve been depressed over the disappearance of my camera. I took a bunch of pics over July 4th weekend as fodder for my blog. Then somehow the camera got misplaced. It was last seen on the evening of July 4th around Midnight. The last known pic taken was of me cooking a hot dog over the camp fire in our yard.

No camera = no photos for my blog. What was I supposed to do? Camera or not, life moves and so must the blog. I am contractually obligated always anxious to blog.

Microsoft Paint to the rescue. Take a look at my recreation of one of the wonderful pics lost. What a beautiful night it was.  This shot is of Me, my ‘ol lady, Jackson Jr, and a bunch of neighbors hanging out in my yard sitting around the fire pit. (We curb scored one of them outdoor fireplaces)

So if anyone sees my camera, could you please return it. It would mean a lot to me. There are 3 months of pics of my son on there that hadn’t been transfered to the computer yet. If they are lost I will be deeply saddened. I’ll love you forever and reward you handsomly. I might even be able to hook you up with backstage passes to meet Terry Clifford. For those who haven’t seen my camera before this is what it kinda looks like.

I never knew you were such the artist. Ya know
you could be on to something. This could bring a whole new twist to the artist of the week.
