If you go to fast food you are usually in a hurry. If you go in you relax a little and maybe take longer with your meal then when still in your car. The first is that society has become so lazy that we can't even get out of our vehicles when plan to eat the meal on the grounds of the establishment we've purchased the meals from. OR we are so self-conscious that we don't want anyone to see that we are eating alone or what it is that we are eating. This would make a great psychological study!
