Like you Jackson, I was deeply sadden by the sudden death of Tim Russert also. I believed that he was one of the good people out in Washington D.C. that didnt bull shit like the others do. I think if he ever ran for office, he would of won because people felt his goodness and he knew what he is talking about. Tim would be missed by his viewers. God bless Tim's family of their great loss. I would like to believe that his family know have their own special angel watching over them.

I to feel that the passing of Tim Russert is a loss for all of the U.S. Not Buffalo alone. He was a tremendous newsman and I will not forget him. Because of his death I will make sure I have any health matter that is strange checked out as I am only 57 and have a lot of years left to enjoy my grandchildren. God Bless Tim and his family and the many people around the workd who honored him.

"What a Man" It's always the good who die young. I don't think there was a better person in Washington and what an example he is for all of us. Maybe the good that will come from his passing will be to shine light on how family life needs to come first. Plus you can be a good guy and get to the top. If you haven't seen the interview with his son Luke from the Today show do yourself a favor and watch it on their website. It is proof of what a great job Tim did raising his son. The most moving picture can also be seen where Luke is alone and touching the back of his dad's MTP chair. I still get tears in my eyes thinking of it. God Bless Tim Russert! "totus tuus"

I have to agree....I too am too born and raised in Buffalo. I actually grew up in South Buffalo during Jimmy's reign. I have lived in Rochester and other cities in the U.S over the last 16 years but spent my first 18 in Buffalo. I actually met Tim one time at a Bills game(I am a Bills fan till the end.) My entire family still lives in Buffalo and say what you will but Buffalonians are the best people!!!!!
